THE WHAT? Parfums Christian Dior has announced Rihanna as the face of its J’Adore fragrance. The singer succeeds Charlize Theron who has fronted campaigns for the pillar scent for the past 20 years.

THE DETAILS Theron was named as jewelry and skin care ambassador for the LVMH-owned brand in May. According to a report published by WWD, the new J’Adore campaign featuring Rihanna was shot by Steven Klein and will debut on September 1, 2024.  

THE WHY? There’s no doubt that Rihanna will bring the fragrance to the attention of new audiences and, with her own successful beauty brand under her belt, her appeal is proven. Veronique Courtois, CEO, Parfums Christian Dior told WWD, “The choice of Rihanna to be the next face of J’Adore was obvious for us. Not only is she one of the greatest and most powerful artists of all times, she is also multitalented, a successful entrepreneur, a committed humanitarian, a mother of two and a singular beauty.”
