THE WHAT? LG Household & Health Care has launched a program designed to prevent bullying in schools. The School, smile! Initiative made its debut in seven schools across South Korea and is designed to teach emotional intelligence.
THE DETAILS According to a report published by Pulse News, the six modules comprise empathy, emotional control, positive thinking, accepting differences, digital communication and defensive behaviour.
The company is also planning activities aimed at identifying and supporting victims of various forms of violence in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
THE WHY? The campaign is part of LG Household & Health Care’s wider Double U Campaign to work towards a safe and warm world without violence, Pulse News reveals.
