THE WHAT? Chanel has named Emilie de Tramasure as General Manager of its Frangrance and Beauty division, effective September 9, 2024. She succeeds Barbara Menarquez, who is due to retire at the end of next month.

THE DETAILS Molli Megasko, Head of Digital US, will head up the department between Menarquez’ departure and de Tramasure’s start, WWD reports. De Tramasure currently leads the Watches and Fine Jewelry unit as General Manager and will remain a member of Chanel’s US management committee.

THE WHY? Under de Tramasure’s tenure, the Watches and Jewelry division has doubled in size. Having joined the company in 1998, she has more than proven her worth to the French luxury brand.
