THE WHAT? Too Faced has become the second brand in the Estee Lauder Companies portfolio to launch on Amazon’s US Premium Beauty Store. To raise awareness of its debut on the e-commerce behemoth, Too Faced has named lifestyle content creator Darcy McQueeny as its official Ambassador for its Amazon storefront.
THE DETAILS In addition to posting her favorite Too Faced products in her dedicated storefront, McQueeny will be hosting other influencers at the Too Faced headquarters this June, for an immersion into the world of Too Faced. McQueeny will also post on her social channels about Too Faced favorites from the Amazon Premium Beauty store throughout the collaboration.
THE WHY? Tara Simon, Global Brand President of Too Faced, comments, “We approach anything we do with a consumer first mindset and launching Too Faced in the US Amazon Premium Beauty store is a natural fit with that strategy. We will reach new, highly-engaged beauty consumers that will be introduced to iconic Too Faced hero products, and we will meet our current Too Faced fans in Amazon’s stores, a destination they are already shopping. We look forward to providing our consumers an immersive brand experience with engaging product education, shoppable recommendations and convenient delivery to doorsteps.”
Clinical aesthetics products refer to a category of products used in the field of medical aesthetics or cosmetic dermatology. These products are typically designed and formulated to be used under the supervision of healthcare professionals, such as dermatologists, plastic surgeons, or trained aestheticians. They are distinct from over-the-counter cosmetics in that they often contain active ingredients or formulations that require expertise in their application or administration.
Examples of clinical aesthetics products include:
-
Dermal Fillers: Injectable substances used to add volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Examples include hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane.
-
Botulinum Toxin (Botox): Injectables that temporarily paralyze facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles caused by repetitive movements, such as frown lines and crow's feet.
-
Chemical Peels: Solutions applied to the skin to exfoliate and improve its texture. They can treat acne, pigmentation issues, and signs of aging.
-
Laser and Light Therapies: Devices that emit focused light or laser energy to treat various skin conditions, including acne, scars, and signs of aging.
-
Prescription Skincare Products: Formulations containing active ingredients like retinoids (vitamin A derivatives), hydroquinone, or prescription-strength antioxidants to address specific skin concerns under medical supervision.
